Annavarjula memorial Trust and its allied organizations have been providing medical and non-medical care options to seniors for 15 years from Bellary through 'Home Again' a long term rehabilitation and care facility for senior citizens. With this intention of creating and delivering a continuum of care for the elderly,Chaitanya Enclave- a living facility for senior citizens with all facilities under one roof.
'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' is a housing option for senior citizens at Chaitanya Enclave. Elders who prefer a hassle-free lifestyle and wish to live in a calm and caring environment at an affordable monthly maintenance payment. It combines housing with personal support services like housekeeping, meals and laundry. 'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' offers spacious accommodation, elegant common rooms and a multitude of services to both residents and who are capable of independent living and those who need assisted living. Unlike its counterpart "old age home" facilities, 'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' is an attractive retirement home for seniors with its aesthetic appeal, sensible design and simple yet comfortable accommodation services in an area of three acres with vernacular architecture.
At 'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' we believe that social interaction is key to mental activity and happiness and thus encourage socialization in common areas like the garden, the lounge and the dining hall. We engage services of staff who are trained in proper personal care techniques including bed, bath and wheelchair assistance and personal hygiene assistance we ensure safety and convenience in design and decor elements of the facility we prepare and delivery healthy meals, and provide housekeeping, laundry and security services to all residents
At 'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' , we strive to create a home-like setting where we preserve the independence and dignity of all our residents while providing care and assistance to them. We respect individual preferences and permit residents to integrate additional personalized items into their lives at 'KRISHNA SANNIDHI' by giving them the option of furnishing their room with their own furniture and amenities and by creating customized care plans.
CHAITANYA ENCLAVE:
Assisted living facility is available to those individuals who are no longer able to live on their own and wish to receive care while retaining their independence. This is an ideal option for those who require assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing or medication administration, but do not need constant medical intervention or nursing home care. These residents can live in their own rooms and will be assigned trained caregivers and/or nurses who will customize their care offerings to suit each individual's needs.
'Senior citizen cell and helpline' with Superintendent of Police, District Collector and group of judicial experts in the panel - is providing 24 X 7 emergency services to unprotected senior citizens staying in their residences.
'Home Again' (home for the aged) was launched in 1998 and over 1000 senior citizens have been served either as inmates or through home care services.
